Accessibility
Visitors to the event should be aware that the event is not held on a purpose-built site and may pose some challenges for the very young, the elderly and those with mobility issues. Every effort has been made to make the site as accessible as possible however visitors should note there are uneven and rough surfaces through many areas. Closed in footwear is advised.
Disabled amenities will be available.
Event-specific disabled car passes are not required.
Disabled patrons DO NOT receive a discount on general admission or VIP tickets.
Companion Card holders receive their ticket free (excludes VIP tickets).
Airside Security Zones
Patrons are NOT permitted to pass through and/or over barriers and fencing into any Airside Security Zone. Unauthorised entry into these areas is prohibited, maximum penalty exceeds $5,000 (Aviation Transport Security Act 2004)
Alcohol
NO alcoholic beverages can be brought onto the event site. A Bar facility will be available for General Admission ticket holders. VIP tickets will include a Food & Beverage package. Identity checks will be conducted. VIP Ticket holders must be 18+ years. Responsible service of Alcohol is a mandatory requirement as part of our service and patrons who may be intoxicated/drunk will be asked to leave the event.
Animals
NO animals are permitted on the event site e.g. Dogs. Anyone who brings animals to the event will not be permitted to enter the facility. Assistance Dogs ARE permitted within the event zone provided they are properly marked, harnessed, and trained.
ATMs
Automatic Teller Machines are available within the Mildura Airport terminal should you require Cash Out.
Bicycles & Scooters
Bicycles and/or scooters will NOT be permitted on the event site.
Buses
Shuttle bus services will run along Deakin Avenue (7th Street to Mildura Airport). Those travelling from Red Cliffs or Merbein are asked to get their normal Sunday bus service and changeover to the FREE Airshow Shuttle at a designated Deakin Avenue Bus Stop. More details about times/services will be available on the event website.
Cameras and Videos
Cameras and videos are encouraged. Drones are strictly NOT permitted.
Cancellation of Event
Event organisers may elect to cancel the event due to extreme weather.
Event organisers will do their best to choose an alternative date for the event before cancelling completely. If the event is cancelled due to weather, ticket holders will be refunded 90% of their total ticket/s cost. 10% of ticket sales will be retained to cover administration costs.
Car Parking
There is car parking available at the event, Mobility Parking will be available, and drivers are asked to display this to the parking marshal upon entering the parking site.
Mildura Airport Terminal Parking will NOT be available for event attendees. Anyone attending the event who has parked in this area will be asked to move their vehicle to the event parking zones.
Chairs
Visitors are permitted and encouraged to bring chairs with them.
Children U/16
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Concessions
Ticket concessions are available for Pension Card holders and Seniors Card holders. Concession prices exclude VIP tickets.
Companion Card
Companions accompanying Companion Card holders are eligible for a free general admission ticket (i.e. excludes VIP tickets) with a general admission ticket purchase. Show your Companion Card at the entry accompanied by a paid ticketholder to receive your free general admission ticket.
First Aid
A first aid facility will be located at the event and its location will be marked on the site map and in the program available on the day.
Food Outlets
A variety of food stalls will be available throughout the event site. Small snacks are permitted but we do ask that you support the local food vendors for your lunch. External food including Eskies and picnic hampers will NOT be permitted.
Golf Buggies
There will be NO golf buggies available at the airshow for hire. Patrons are NOT permitted to bring their own.
Lockers
Limited lockers are available at the Airport Terminal building, these lockers will be charged at their normal hire fee.
Mobile Phones
Mobile phones are permitted on site, however, due to network congestion, reception may not always be available.
Pass Outs
Pass outs will be available at the Main and VIP entry gates. Persons leaving the event who do not obtain a pass out, will not be able to re-enter the event on the same ticket.
Personal Property
A lost & found outlet will be onsite in the event area and act as a centralised location during the event for lost children or items to be handed in. To help find your missing item, you will need to provide staff with as much information as possible of the product you have lost – the colour of the product, ID, imagery etc.
Post event – Lost items will be collected by event staff and transferred to a centralised location. Items will be held for a period of 60 days before they are donated to a charity. Collection of items will be between Mon-Fri by appointment only.
Please note: Mildura Airport and Paul Bennet Airshow do NOT take responsibility for lost or damaged property.
Refunds
Refunds will NOT be available for poor weather, change in airshow line-up, or delays in the airshow program. In the event of poor weather, the programme may be modified to ensure safety of exhibitors and patrons. In the unlikelihood the event is cancelled, tickets will be 90% refunded (10% of ticket prices will be retained to cover administration costs).
Roadside Parking
Roadside parking will NOT be permitted along Walnut and Deakin Ave during the event.
Rubbish
To ensure protection of our land and airside zone, patrons are reminded to dispose of rubbish in the bins provided. If no bin is available or full, patrons are asked to take rubbish with them to dispose later. Event organisers will do our bit to make sure bins are monitored and emptied accordingly.
Security
Patrons will go through a security check before entering the event zone. Those ticket holders who elect to bring chairs and bags will be required to go through the bag check zone. Intoxicated/inhibited patrons will not be permitted to enter the event. Identification checks will be conducted for VIP ticket holders and those adults wishing to access GA bar facilities.
Smoking
Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere within the bounds of the airshow area. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes (e-cig or e-cigarettes), personal vaporisers, electronic nicotine delivery systems, or other battery powered vaporisers. Those wishing to smoke will need to obtain a Pass-Out which are available at the Main and VIP entry gates. Please be aware that persons leaving the event who do not obtain a Pass-Out will not be able to re-enter the event on the same ticket.
Tickets
Tickets will be capped and might not be available on the gate.
Vehicles
No vehicle shall be permitted to remain in the event car park preceding the event or left overnight. All vehicles must be removed by 8pm.
